Waterleaf Pups are small, cat-sized dogs based off of plants and nature. They always grow things like leaves or flowers on them, which can be picked and used as accessories, or nests in the wild. They also always have water located on their tails and paws, to keep whatever is growing on them alive. They love the sunlight, and sleep in holes during the night.
During the winter, everything on a Waterleaf Pup freezes over to help them adapt to the change of weather. And in the spring, everything on them goes back to normal, so they can grow more and more plants and such. Waterleaf Pups go into hiding during the winter.
Waterleaf Pups live in large gardens or forests, and are very friendly. They blend in well with bushes, and fluff out their fur and hide in holes or trees when scared. They send out strong scents of the outdoors, which is why any household with a Waterleaf Pup normally smells nice.
Waterleaf Pups love to go swimming, and float on their backs. Yes, they do have water on them, but it is solid to other bodies of water. The only thing they'll eat other than fruits, vegetables and plants are fish. They swim down and catch fish with their mouths and eat this, although they only do it rarely. While they're outside, their strong, nature-like scent commonly attracts things like birds.
